Why MAXcellence

Accounting reports were never the real question.

Across more than two decades in regional and international finance leadership — and hands-on experience in villa management, hospitality asset management, and mixed-use development — MAXcellence's founder kept meeting the same gap. Business owners and investors had reports. What they didn't have were answers: how the business was truly performing, where costs could be improved, and what needed to be in place before the next investment.

MAXcellence was founded to close that gap — building the reporting systems, cost structures and financial models that hoteliers, villa owners, F&B operators, sports club owners, resort developers and real estate investors can actually run a business on.

Mayple Yap is the founder of MAXcellence — a Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore, FCCA, ASEAN CPA) with more than two decades of regional and international finance leadership, including as a Group CFO and Financial Controller. She now works directly with hoteliers, villa owners, F&B operators and real estate investors, building the reporting systems, financial models and controls their businesses run on.

She leads full-spectrum accounting operations — from month-end close to audit and tax coordination — helping clients build clearer financial records, stronger reporting discipline and more practical accounting workflows.
